Dear Parents,
I am sending this e-mail to correct annual assessment dates provided in the competition detail forms that I sent this morning. The dates should be considered as May 5,2013 (reading) and May 12, 2013 (writing). Mistakenly, the year was specified as 2012 in the original forms sent.
My sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Thank you.

The Details of 2012/2013 Academic Year Competitions and Practices for Muthu Keta Vessa
Dear Parents,
Please find the details of competitions and practices for muthu keta vessa concert given below.
Academic Year Competitions:
I have attached the details of annual competitions (class wise) to this e-mail. Please download the relevant sheet and assist your kids to participate if they are willing. These competitions are not compulsory and the students those who are willing can participate. However, the teachers appreciate their participation as it helps them to develop language skills, confidence and personality.
The class details are appended below for your convenience in downloading the relevant sheet.
Class 1A- Mrs Dilmi Jayatilake
Class 1B- Mrs Chamila Wijeratne
Class 2- Mrs Nirosha De Silva
Class 3- Mrs Anuradhi Pallewela
Class 4- Mrs Wasantha Wijewardene
Class 5- Mrs K A N Dilhani
Muthu Keta Vessa Concert Practices:
We commence practices for Muthu Keta Vessa concert on coming Sunday. Children of class 4 and 5 are required to stay for practices from 5.45pm to 6.30pm in the temple (this time is selected for your convenience as you will not have to bring them on a separate day during first few months of practices) . The practices will be done in the Old Awasa Buiding. The permission is taken from SLSBS for extra one hour practices.
We intend to start practices of Jaya Mangala Gatha, one of the dramas and a dancing item to pay respect to the god, teachers and parents on the first day. As this is going to be a ticket show, students will be selected by teachers and trainers for the items by assessing their talents and preference. The students who are only attending Dhamma School will also be in the items based on the willingness, talents and availability.
The practices for small kids will take place on the following week and will be informed about the time early next week.
Your assistance is much appreciated!
Thank you.
