FW: The Details of 2012/2013 Academic Year Competitions and Practices for Muthu Keta Vessa

Dear Parents,

This e-mail contains information about special activities taking place on coming Sunday at PSS.


Poem Competition:
This Sunday poem competition will take place as informed at the begining of the term. The competition will be during class times and will be judged by Rev. Pallwela Visuddhivansa, Mr Anuruddha Liyanage, Ms Bhadra Navaratne, Ms Maya Ganheva, Mr Anura Wijeawrdene and Mrs Illendra Balage. All these members have assisted PSS in the past as judges at different capacities. Most of them are members of the advisory and academic boards of the School. If any parent needs the competition sheets, I have attached to this e-mail again. Also please note that any of these competitions is not compulsory for the students and at their discretion they can participate.

Muthu Keta Vessa Concert Practices:
The practices are on this Sunday for the kids from year 4 and 5 classes and will take place from 5.45pm to 6.30pm. It is very important to maintain silence during this time as regular bana is taking place in the shrine room.

Poster Presentations:
Children in year 5 have been asked to do their poster presentations about one of the places they did for the last project. This is happening as a part of classroom acivity, but not as a part of assessment.
