Prize Giving-2012/2013

Dear Parents, Friends and Past Pupils,

 

With pleasure, we inform you that the Annual Prize Giving (2012/2013) of Perth Sinhala School is scheduled to be held on the 9th of June at Canning Town Hall (Cnr of Albany Highway and George St, Cannington) from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.

 

This year also, the students will be awarded for oratory, singing, class proficiency, story writing ability, attendance and hand writing. Thus, approximately there will be 105-110 prizes awarded on the day. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

 

In this year also the assigned amounts for each place will be:

 1st Place- $40

                         2nd Place- $30

                         3rd Place- $20

These amounts will include a special trophy, certificate and a standard voucher/gift card.

We would like to bring to your attention that you can contribute towards trophies and prizes either in your names or your parents' names. At the time of awarding, we are happy to mention name/s of people who will be sponsoring the trophies/prizes.

An example:

In this year, P.A. Perera Trophy for the 1st place in Year 1 Oratory Competition goes to .....................................

You can donate any amount of prizes and your sponsorship is very much appreciated as the approximate cost of the prize giving is $4700.                    

Please transfer your money to PSS bank account of which the details are given below. An official receipt will be issued by the treasurer of the School on the receipt of donations.
